I used to dream of becoming a professor. However, my perspective changed after completing my post graduate studies. I love being in groups and seeing immediate results.

Another significant role of HR is to assist employees in developing their career through on job assignment, training, and coaching by others. Helping employees develop their skills to enhance their job knowledge, and performance will not only benefit the employee but the company as a whole. Such development opportunities will help an employee to grow both personally and professionally.
WHAT ARE SOME CHARACTERISTICS THAT YOU BELIEVE EVERY HUMAN RESOURCE PROFESSIONAL SHOULD POSSESS?
Being TRUSTWORTHY is one of the essential characteristics of HR personnel. We are the people employees turn to when they are having issues in the organization such as salary and benefits, misconducts, or personal challenges impacting work. It is important for employees to know that their HR personnel is someone they can speak to and seek advice on various areas.
INTEREST IN PEOPLE. The heart and soul of HR are about people and relationships. We are responsible for maintaining and managing the employer/employee relationships to boost the morale and motivation. For this reason, HR personnel needs to be emotionally intelligent, keep an open-mind and have good communication skills to support
Lastly, a successful HR needs to have a GOOD LISTENING SKILL. Letting someone talk through an issue is more important than actively trying to solve it. HR must be able to listen patiently to the problems employees are facing. Don’t interrupt until they have conveyed their message.
