Prof. San Murugesan

San Murugesan is Director of BRITE Professional Services, an Adjunct Professor at Western Sydney University and Amity University, and former Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE CS IT Professional magazine. He has vast experience in both industry and academia, and his expertise and interests span a range of areas – AI, autonomous systems, cloud computing, intelligent automation and the IoT. He advices on digital business transformation and higher education and serves on several review and advisory boards. He also offers professional development and executive education programs on emerging technologies. He is co-editor of Encyclopedia of Cloud Computing (Wiley-IEEE, 2015), Harnessing Green IT: Principles and Practices (Wiley-IEEE, 2012) and other books. He served as Senior Research Fellow at the NASA Ames Research Center in California, and as professor of computer science at Southern Cross University in Australia. Prior to these, he worked at the Indian Space Agency in Bangalore in senior roles. IEEE Computer Society recognized his distinguished service and significant contributions conferring him its second highest service award, the Distinguished Service Certificate.
