Dr Suha Jaradat is an Associate Professor of Architectural Technology at the School of Engineering and the Built Environment and a Programme Leader for three major Architectural Technology courses: (BSc (Hons.) Architectural Technology, BSc (Hons) Construction and Built Environment (Architectural Technology) Graduate Apprenticeship, and MSc Architectural Technology and Building Performance). She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), Chartered Member of the Charted Institute of Architectural Technologists (MCIAT), a fully qualified Member (registered Architectural Engineer) of the Jordanian Engineers Association. She is a PhD examiner and supervisor and has been an External Examiner & Panel Expert in programme validation and review events.
Dr Suha Jaradat’s research is interdisciplinary in nature and focuses on the digitisation of the built environment using various software applications designed to improve environmental performance. She is involved in teaching, professional practice & research. The outcome of her research is published in international journals & conferences. She is a reviewer for international refereed journals in the built environment. Dr Suha Jaradat was a Lecturer in the Built Environment & Course Director of BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying Consultancy at the School of Engineering, Kingston University London. Dr Suha Jaradat worked as a Research Fellow & Sessional Lecturer at the University of Reading, School of Construction Management & Engineering after completing her PhD at the Design Innovation Research Centre (DIRC), University of Reading. Her PhD was funded by the Engineering & Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) & investigated the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in interdisciplinary practices in the UK & USA. She collected data from leading architectural practices in Houston, Dallas, San Francisco & London. She was involved in larger studies including the London 2012 Olympics Games Construction Project. Dr Suha Jaradat worked in Edinburgh previously & completed her MSc in Design and Digital Media at the Department of Architecture, The University of Edinburgh. |
